Porkchop again.

And he's better than ever ;) Fenris went on a 3 week break to work some things out, and now thanks to our, breeder, trainer, vet, and friend Dawn from Hiqborders.com he is back and he is doing great! Everyone has been commenting on how much of a difference there is now. If he wasn't so unique in markings I would have thought she switched him with another dog. The coolest trick Fenris can do now is retrieve a hot dog and drop it on command, and it's still nicely intact! I'm not even sure if Vash could do that, but now I'm interested in trying it for fun to see. He still acts like he hasn't been fed in days when he eats, (I promise you, he does eat every day!) but at least now when he does he will leave the food alone when you tell him to. And the other great part to this is now Autumn can help with feeding Fenris now too. She used to get upset when she wasn't able to.

Also, Fenris had quite the adventures during his stay with Dawn. It will probably forever remain a mystery but Fenris got quite the cut on his front toe. It did require stitches, but something that does say a lot about Fenris and his character is how he didn't even seem to notice or care that he had this deep cut on his paw. Also while Fenris was put under so he could get his stitches, he was given the "snipsnip" so I am sure Steve is glad he doesn't have to worry about getting that done anymore.

So Dawn if you are reading this, thank you so much for all you did for Fenris!

And Steve, if you are reading this, put this dog in some obedience classes!! :P

Also, seeing that we had to drive Steve to Caledon to get Fenris, Amanda and I had to get all we could out of it by renting the agility hall for an hour, and also visiting some very cute puppies: http://hiqborders.com/twiggpups.cfm I also brought my sister Kaity for the drive, where she fell in love with a puppy who she kindly named "Porkchop" the funny part is, after she put Porkchop back with her siblings she forgot which one was porkchop! We helped her figure it out and took some cute pictures of the two of them together. Kaity was also bit by the agility bug on saturday, and is interested in trying it again. We are going to need that bus real soon with all the people we get interested in agility.
